The Full Harvest
Sugar ~ Sugar is one of the best natural beauty ingredients to gently exfoliate the skin. A natural source of glycolic acid (an AHA), sugar breaks down layers of dead skin and smooths the skin's surface. It also speeds up rehydration, keeping skin conditioned and moisturized
Grapeseed Oil ~ Grapeseed oil is a carrier oil abundant in vitamins and minerals making it a great source of nourishment for both skin and hair. It is known for being packed with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties suitable for both oily and dry skin. Grapeseed oil contains omega chain fatty acids and vitamin E, which deeply moisturise and hydrate while reducing the appearance of fine lines and evening skin tone. Grapeseed oil is an excellent choice for hair treatments as it contains vitamin E, flavonoids, linoleic acid, and OPCs, all of which are necessary for healthy hair growth and vitality. Grapeseed oil is a natural choice to seal in moisture and hydrate the hair and because of its lightweight texture, it won't leave the hair feeling greasy.
Hibiscus Flower Powder ~ Celebrated as nature’s ‘botox plant’, hibiscus flower is a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), which exfoliate the skin, promote cellular regeneration and aid in reducing blemishes and breakouts. AHAs also increase the skin’s moisture levels, improving elasticity and texture, leaving the skin looking firmer. The antioxidant properties of hibiscus flower also aid in reducing the appearance of pores, promoting softness and soothing irritated skin.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil ~ Meadowfoam seed oil is high in Vitamin C and E, which are antioxidants known to protect skin from free radicals. Working similarly to our natural sebum, meadowfoam seed oil is suitable for all skin types and helps to balance the skin’s sebum production, keeping it from being too dry or too oily.
Pomegranate Seed Oil ~ A master rejuvenator, pomegranate seed oil helps to bring skin back to life. This highly valuable oil boasts powerful regenerative, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-aging and anti-microbial properties. It is known to boost collagen production, enhance skin elasticity, balance oil and fight off free radicals. Pomegranate Oil is suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin due its ability to help unclog pores. It provides lasting moisture without leaving a greasy residue.
Patchouli Oil ~ Patchouli oil is best known for the regenerating, disinfecting, moistening and cooling of tissues making it an excellent remedy for almost every skin complaint. It soothes inflammation and can be used to treat irritated skin. The earthy notes of patchouli are responsible for its grounding, centering and sensualising effects which can help heal negative detachment from our body and our environment.
Mandarin Oil ~ The delicate aroma of mandarin breathes a message of happiness. It helps us to get in touch with our inner child. The citric acid in mandarin oil helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes and pigmentation on the skin. It also balances oil and can be used as a treatment for scars and age spots.
